Not all HVAC companies are the same. Our flat rate pricing is one of the biggest factors that sets us apart from the rest.
Our Flat Rate Pricing
With flat rate pricing, you will know the final price of your installation or service call before we even do the work! At RSC, we like to call this method our “no surprise pricing”, because it is exactly that. The estimate we give you will be the price you are charged even if we have to come back a second time to check the same problem out. Our company and technicians are working their hardest to change the status quo of other technicians in the industry. Trust us to give you the right price the first time!
Whether it is a preventative maintenance service, a complete installation, or a repair, we work with you and open up a line of communication to completely understand any problems you are experiencing. We listen to the issues you are having in order to pinpoint the problem and take proper action. Sometimes, one problem will need to be taken care of first before the actual issue described by the customer is addressed. Because of this common problem, our technicians carry a repair book with them, which offers hundreds of different issues and the cost for the parts and hours of labor needed for each repair.
Because our flat rate pricing is cut and dry, you will not be hit with a large, unexpected bill at the end of your service. Because of the repair book our technicians have, we can tell you the price of your repair immediately after we listen to you and assess the problem.
On top of all of this, for every repair we do, RSC guarantees a one year warranty on the part and the service. All fixes are on us!
Cons of Time and Material Pricing
Many companies charge what is called time and material pricing. With this pricing strategy, you will be billed by the hour and the cost of your parts will be added to your bill at the end. With this pricing strategy you are billed by the hour, covering everything they do from start to finish. This can include their driving time, trips to get parts, and signing paperwork.
Time and material pricing leaves customers more surprised than anything and can leave you with a more expensive fix than what you were expecting. Many factors can play into the cost of a repair or installation. Often, other technicians will wait to tell you the cost of your service until they are finished.
