Greenspeed Intelligence
RSC Heating & Air Conditioning was truly honored when chosen as one of the first companies in the region to receive the all new Carrier Infinity heat pump with Greenspeed intelligence. We knew this product would be a wonderful addition to the innovative, green options we already offer to our customers.
What sets this heat pump apart from its competitors is the combination of variable-speed technology and Infinity intelligence. Variable-speed science allows this heat pump to run slower for improved dehumidification in the summer and faster for increased heating in freezing weather. The Infinity control watches over the heat pump system to make sure critical parts are not overworked as comfort demands are met.
By applying the new variable speed science, the Infinity heat pump can adjust with unprecedented precision to the specific comfort needs of the home, so it only works as hard as it has to for the situation, saving you money in return. Compared to a standard efficiency heat pump, you can save up to $111 a year in cooling and up to $341 a year in heating costs.
Geothermal
The earth is a heat battery that absorbs and stores nearly half of the sun’s solar energy. As a result, at a depth of six feet, it maintains a fairly constant temperature of 45 to 70 degrees F. The geothermal system taps into this free renewable energy and puts it to work.
Geothermal systems work through a series of pipes called a loop system. Water circulates through the loop system and carries heat to the home in the winter months, where it is compressed and released to raise your indoor temperature.
In the summer months, this process is reversed. Heat is drawn from the home to the loop system and absorbed back into the earth. Regardless of the season, geothermal systems provide year-round home comfort that is energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
Did you know: Installing a geothermal system in your home is equivalent to planting a full acre of new trees, or the equivalent of removing two cars, and the pollution they create, from the road.
Infinity Heat Pump
Carrier Infinity heat pumps are the most sophisticated heat pumps in the Carrier line up, with a two stage compressor that is capable of two energy saving levels of operation. The lower stage runs for a longer period of time with less energy use, while the higher stage is perfect for heating and cooling your home more quickly and efficiently.
The Infinity series is also Energy Star compliant and uses the “greener” Puron refrigerant as opposed to traditional Freon.

Carrier Variable Speed gas furnaces are the most efficient furnace on the market with an AFUE rating of 98.5%, exceeding all other comparable products from leading manufacturers.
