How to See Our Reviews on Yelp

If you’ve ever looked up RSC’s Yelp profile and were confused by the average rating shown at the top of the page, you are not alone. We were confused by this too!

In fact, we recently spoke with a Yelp representative to figure out why our profile’s overall score was appearing as “3 out of 5 stars” instead of showing RSC’s actual Yelp rating of 4.8 stars.

Here is what we found out…

For some reason, Yelp does not factor in all of a company’s reviews when calculating its overall rating. Instead, this platform bases its average score on only a portion of the business’s Yelp reviews. In our case, Yelp uses only two out of our profile’s 22 total reviews to come up with an average rating.

This means 20 customer reviews are left out from the profile’s average score!

While we can’t change the way Yelp calculates their profile averages, we CAN show customers the additional 20 HVAC service reviews RSC has received on Yelp.
